For many, we see November as gratitude month, but why do most wait until November to show gratitude in a larger capacity than earlier in the year?
Life seems like it moves faster than ever, everyone is in a hurry, off to a sports practice, lots of homework, work deadlines are due and the list could easily go on. What often comes with a busy lifestyle, sacrificing one thing for another, often forgetting what is important until life has a way of putting something in perspective.
So what is the answer? Like most questions, there is usually not one answer and solutions are rarely “Black and White”, but there are steps we can take to improve.
Come up with a plan? Yes, we have all heard that one before, but come up with an easy and sustainable plan that you and/or your family can maintain to show gratitude.
We encourage you to think outside the box and not only commit to the same convenient sources that most do, but add at least one extra charitable cause you are passionate about each month. Not all donations have to be monetary and make sure to get your kids involved if you fall in that category.
Kindness is contagious if you just give it a chance.
